Emergencies

If you are experiencing an emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room. If you are pregnant or recently had surgery and need to speak to the provider on call, please contact our Answering Service at 757-431-3938. All other calls, please call during normal business hours.

Appointments

Our offices are open to serve you Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Our staff will make every effort to accommodate your busy schedule and to make sure that there is no delay in getting the medical attention that you need.

• Established patients please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time
• New patients please arrive 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment time

Insurance and Financial Arrangements

OB-GYN Specialists for Women participates with most insurance carriers. We recommend that patients contact their insurance carriers to determine coverage. Co-payments are collected at the time of check-in for those patients whose insurance requires a co-payment.

Patient payments may be made by cash, check, credit/debit card, or paid via the patient portal.

Patients should bring their insurance card(s) and ID to all appointments.

Questions concerning account statements or assistance with making financial arrangements should be directed to our Billing Department 804-486-7008.

Medical Records and Confidentiality

Your medical records and healthcare are completely confidential. Federal guidelines prohibit us from discussing your healthcare with anyone, even family members, unless you have given us written permission. You may view our Notice of Privacy Practices here.
